Kissed By A Zephyr

Kissed By A Zephyr
Art by Edward Burne-Jones, 1891

so how do you prepare to say good bye do you whisper love words or weep in anticipation or say that I'm glad you're still here for however long that is

how does one so full of life so enchanted and enchanting walk up to the exit door

you're cutting holes you know in the fabric of the sky

voices live in the wind yours will continue to play to fling joy at flowers

what happens to dreams when the dreamer has left do they shiver in the cold are they embraced by another

it is too soon and too sudden like a wave washing over one to understand
